Tillet print

Description
This is part of a wrapping for an individual piece of cloth 24 yards by 31 ins, manufactured by Thomas Fox of Wellington. It was printed from a wood block onto black buckram. The motto and crest with lions are of the East India Company. The East India Company lost its franchise in the early 1830s, so the tillet impression must pre-date that.
