Ormolu clock

Description
Ormolu is a term used to describe gilt brass on decorative art objects. This mantelpiece/sideboard clock is made from gilt and porcelain on an oval wooden base. PH Mourey made the clock and it was a gift to Tryphena Sparks in 1877.
